For more than 40 years, Kip Elser's name has been synonymous with success in the juvenile Thoroughbred market. His Kirkwood Stables offerings have brought top bids at Calder, Barretts, Fasig-Tipton, and Keeneland, as well as overseas at Tattersalls in the U.K., New Zealand Bloodstock Ready to Run Sale, and the Cape Thoroughbred Sales in South Africa. Graduates of his program have made headlines all over the world.

Now, in 2023, Elser's focus has shifted from developing and selling top racing prospects at two-year-old sales to assisting clients in acquiring the next generation of top racing athletes for their own stables.

Kip's ability to select and develop talented young horses for both the two-year-old sales and for racing stables is known the world over. Having had literally thousands of horses pass through his training facility over the years, he has developed a keen eye for conformation, pedigrees, and the attributes that make for a successful racehorse.

Graduates of his program include THREE Kentucky Oaks (G1) winners and a Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) winner, a Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf (G1) winner, and an Eclipse Champion Springer.
